Absolutely right but as I stated you can't change their minds but you can educate the young.

I am a Vietnam veteran, NRA member, strong supporter of the constitution of the United States and bill of rights. I am saying this first before anyone jumps to the wrong conclusion. The problem with yours and others statement is the fact that him and the other gun control advocates read the 2nd amendment different than we do. They honestly believe they are not doing anything wrong. Our main priority should be to educate people especially the young about firearms and the bill of rights and what it means to our country, not arguing with some set in his ways politician. In my area of the country our sportsman club and members spends a lot of time and money with our kids teaching them proper firearm safety, storage and handling. We also have them shooting organized trap and rifles programs, hoping we will not raise anti gunners. Only my 2 cents

True. I still plan to move back to Pennsylvania sooner than later to be in a state that has a respect for Constitutional rights for all and not just for the ruling class. I can educate from Pennsylvania until I resign from my job in New Jersey.

Clearly Murphy believes in the upside down version of the US Constitution. The Constitution is not there to grant us any rights at all it is there to limit the power of government. When you go to the gun store and fill out all the forums and have them call PICS/NICS begging for their approval to let you buy a firearm the US Constitution is being violated to the utmost degree. The Constitution never authorized the US government to be able to approve of you exercising your Constitutional rights. Quite the opposite is true. The citizen rights are affirmed by the US Constitution as a right, not a privilege, not a favor, but a right to own a firearm without any interference from the US government.

If you don't like those words that are in that Constitution then there is a provision to change them. Pretending to change the meanings of the words and ideas of the original intent using weasel words and slight of hand happens by Judicial fiat and it has been going on for last century or more. After our 30 day free trial of communism is over and done with I believe it will be time to return this country back to the Constitutional Republic it was meant to be.
