But those stats are kinda skewed due to land use. Monroe's inhabited areas (Stroud, Middle Smithfield Twps) are much more dense than Northampton's (e.g., Moore, etc.) The rest of Monroe is public land ( thank God!) and really doesn't reflect the other half.
Bethlehem, South Bethlehem, Freemansburg, Nazareth, Easton just to name a few are more densely populated and then when you head to most townships in the valley they allow 1/4 acre and smaller. If they had our commuter population they would have double our numbers.

I mean...that is why we built this country so we could have our own thoughts and opinions without persecution. So...if someone wants to think that thing is normal they have the same right as I do to think it's not. And if that other person wants to not like me because of that, that's their right too.

That's what's going on here with all the farmland being bought up and developed into strip malls and townhouses. It helps the tax base, but it does nothing for the roads, nor food costs, nor other infrastructure issues.

Take it for what it's worth 2nd hand maybe even more hands then that information.

Elderly neighbor lady just texted my wife, she said she has a friend who works at the local St Lukes walk in clinic in the Broadheadsville area on route 209. Two older people walked in very sick were tested and confirmed positive in the last 24hrs. Before they went in for testing they were food shopping in the Kinsley's Shop Rite down the street which is where I food shop, and they are both NY residents.

Yeah I am going to have to agree that she is off on this one.

I just received this from my state Senator Scalvo.

I have received several messages of vacation rentals, Airbnb’s or individuals encouraging people to travel from the tristate area, and go against the Governors order to “vacation” here during the Governors Stay-at-Home order. As a former resident of New York City, I appreciate people and families traveling to Pennsylvania to vacation and enjoy all the beauty we have to offer; however, our state under the Governor’s order is on lockdown.

Any short-term rentals advertising on their website, Facebook or any other medium, will be reported to the State Police. After today, please screenshot any advertisements and I will give a copy of those ads to the State Police. Please email me at mscavello@pasen.gov.
