In Breitbart today there is a story that many Pa DA's will not be prosecuting businesses defying the Governors orders. Dauphin County DA Fran Chardo said: “The criminal law is a blunt instrument and is not ordinarily used for enforcement of a Governor’s decree." Now back into your hole Wolfie!

Received a letter today from my Chiropractor. He's closing his business and retiring. Can't practice due to the shutdown in Berks. Says he has had enough, time to enjoy life.

A real good guy and doctor.

    Wow.

Just read Wolf's press statement from today. Calling people "selfish", "cowardly" and "desert(ers)". Then doubling down with threats to suspend business licensing. Just shows how clueless he is to the fact that the state has been shut down since the beginning of April due to reluctant compliance and not due to fear of government sanction. "The People" agreed to cooperate. And now, they are no longer willing to cooperate.

He reminds me of an ineffectual step-dad threatening to take away a cell phone from a 230lb. high school senior for swearing at the dinner table and wondering why he is dismissed all of the time. Totally tone deaf to the fat that people are now at the point where they are more afraid of losing their houses and businesses than they are of government sanction OR exposure to COVID, whethsr that fear is justified or not depends on the person. But Wolf needs to realize that he has lost any control that he had by doubling down on his shutdown. Nkw he's just the parent that yells louder to try to gain compliance.

Further, today's press releaze may have just cost him reelection, because there are plenty of independents and even some Democrats lumped into those calling for opening and being labeled as being cowardly and selfish.

Reelection to what? He's in his last term as gubnor.

Oops! Wasn't paying attention to him that closely.

It will still likely hurt the Dems. At the rate they are going with Wolf, Bide , etc., the Republicans don't have to "win" so much as to shut up and not make waves and let the Dems tear themselves apart.

I do agree with that, now just lay off of the abortion issue, at least for the short term.

Bedford County just announced they won't.

You are 100% correct about his attitude and reaction, but, as I posted in another thread:
    https://www.denverpost.com/2020/05/1...anvirus-covid/

The cellphone the governor has the power to take away from the kid is vital to the survival of the kids, not just some trivial device that can be done without for a week or two.
Power always thinks...that it is doing God's service when it is violating all his laws.
