I think you can if it has a barrel length less than 15 inches, is greater than 26 inches in over all length and has never had a stock. It could even be a semi auto, have detachable magazines and 12ga.

What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms!

Look it’s all unconstitutional. Why would it make sense? If you were writing an unconstitutional law, why would you care if it was coherent or not? You wouldn’t. Because you wouldn’t really care about anything except making a punishable offense.

I would have thought this to be obvious.

    Laws are about control.

    Reasons are only excuses.

    People want control.

    Some want to control themselves.

    Others want to control others.

    Those people find a way.

It all seems like a foot in the door to me. Like, "this is allowed... For now" type of stuff.

It is all easily simplified. Always apply, "it's for the children" and/or "if it saves one life". See?
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

That only works for liberals. To paraphrase a neighboring governor: 'We just have a philosophical disagreement.' Interpretation: 'I'm right and your wrong. It is what (I say) it is.'

Just to follow up with a question because I can't remember- Muzzle Devices aren't part of the measurement?

They count if they are permanently attached.

They are if permanently attached by blind pinned(welded over pin) or welded.

If just screwed on, or silver soldered, or other attachment - no.
