Re: Home defense and meds
Many medications don't degrade by much, but there are no guarantees beyond the expiration.

Re: Home defense and meds
As I mentioned in another thread, aspirin and tetracycline become toxic at a certain point after expiry. Read up on these two before using either beyond their expiration date.

Re: Home defense and meds
Tetracycline is from the stone age. It's addressed in the article, noting a particular formulation of tetracycline that was an issue. I don't think there was ever an issue with doxy or mino, and nobody cares about sarecycline.
I don't think they really hashed out aspirin degradation in the article but in the comment section older doctors and nurses write about smelling aspirin before use in the old days. If it smells like salicylic acid (wintergreen) toss it.

LONDON -- The World Health Organization and other leading agencies say there is no evidence to support the suggestion that ibuprofen might worsen the symptoms of COVID-19.
WHO said earlier this week that it did a quick review and found no published research or data on the issue. It also checked with doctors treating coronavirus patients.
The U.N. health agency said it was "not aware of reports of any negative effects of ibuprofen, beyond the usual known side effects.” It added that it was not recommending against using ibuprofen for the treatment of fever in people with COVID-19.

I read where enemas are being used to treat CNN/China virus. No need to waste toilet paper either.
