Re: The Limits Of Governor Wolf's Power
As near as I can tell Attorneys Prince and Kraut are the ONLY ones in the entire USA to even attempt to hold a predatory State Governor in check!
I do not see this as a complete wipe out. If I understood correctly, the Court declined the case. I am not sure if new facts or new infringements by the Governor would sustain a new challenge, but it seems that aggrieved citizens still have rights to challenge. So I would not call this a complete victory for Governor Wolf either.

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will...

In regards to TP, I've been buying from Amazon using their Subscribe and Save for years. It so happens that I'm supposed to get a case at the end of the week. Their system still shows it as coming. I'll have to stand guard at the front door until it arrives in order to grab it before the neighborhood gets wind. :-)

Re: The Limits Of Governor Wolf's Power
If you look at it, the Emergency panel has a representative from the Judicial, Legislative and Executive branches of PA Government. By incorporating Judicial overview INTO the process, it will remove a separate step of judicial overview, it's already baked in (so to speak) from step one.

Re: The Limits Of Governor Wolf's Power
What actually pains me the most about this whole situation (only slightly more than having to see that UGLY he/she health sec on the daily briefings) is how easily so many people are fully ok with constitutional rights being tramped in the name of "public safety"
Last time I checked we were Citizens not Subjects!

Re: The Limits Of Governor Wolf's Power
I once took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It seems to me that some police are becoming that enemy.
