I haven't been paying much attention ammo prices lately. After putting some 30-06 for sale/trade here yesterday, I looked at their site and was blown away. They have it marked 2.5 times more than Midway.

I stooped at Geisers in Sunbery today. They had a sign on the door. Closed until further notice due to something about govt. I forget exactly what.

So, if he's not mandating anything and not enforcing anything, why have the news conference and issue the order?
So that it is there when he decides he wants to send out the National Guard and the State Police. I imagine there are fines and penalties that apply too. So, even if enforcement is delayed, they will get a list of all the law breakers trying to make a living and prosecute them later.

The stores in my area are pretty much empty. Wednesday I was at a shop and they couldn’t run the background checks cuz the system was down. Also the day before at another shop the same thing. People were standing outside just waiting for the system to come up. I was just out trying to grab some last minute extras and ammo. I stopped at Ducks field and stream. You can grab a bucket o bullets there. 9mm for around $100. The store was closed but the sign on the door said to call and they would serve you up curbside. So I did while in the parking lot. They said they couldn’t sell ammunition. Not sure why I could buy a canoe but not a bucket o bullets. Interesting though.
