Maybe when COVID-19 has been around as long as the AR15 there will be more test kits, and a whole lot more AR15s.

Wait a minute! Those who possess a PA License to carry are deemed TRUSTWORTHY, including during emergencies.

My letter:
(Credit to Banks for his comment in this thread)
Senator Casey,
I am writing you today in response to your comment that “In America today, it is easier to get an AR-15 than a CoVid-19 test kit”
I have several issues with this comment,
First, I find it absolutely disgusting that you would drag your tyrannical gun control agenda into the current virus outbreak conversation. Your opinions on guns has absolutely nothing to do with the CoVid-19 discussion.
Second, the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution and Article 1, Section 21 of the PA State Constitution guarantees the right of the people to own firearms, and the PA Constitution is even worded stronger than COTUS. In case you skipped school the day this was taught, The PA version states that “The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.” Of course your record has shown time and time again that you have no problem engaging in the flagrant disregard of both Constitutions. Can you point to the specific verbiage in either Constitution that guarantees CoVid-19 test kits?
Third, Today I received an email from you regarding the coronavirus. In part, your email states:
“My main priority first and foremost is to protect families and communities within the Commonwealth”
When you make a health “crisis” into a platform to make sly remarks about your agendas, you not only do a disservice to the families and communities that you claim to want to protect, but you also lose any credibility in your ability to fulfill that claim. I was pleased to see many of the Country’s leaders, who are typically at odds, working together to find a solution to this “crisis”, however I was not surprised to see you trying to politicize it.
I will close by reminding you that the right of citizens to bear arms was never about hunting or target shooting. Our Founding Fathers, in their infinite wisdom, provided We The People with a method of protection in case their new and untested form of government were to fail. If, and when, a future government slipped into tyranny, the people would be guaranteed the ability to suppress illegal governmental overreach. It is the 2nd Amendment, second only to the Amendment that permits me to voice my displeasure to you. And as your constituent, I eagerly await my opportunity to voice it again in 2024 by actively supporting any challenger you may face in your next election cycle. BOTH of those rights are protected BECAUSE of the Second Amendment, not in spite of it.Last edited by PickingPA; May 1st, 2020 at 08:05 AM.

Why is Bob Casey so against people exercising one of their constitutional rights? It should be easier to do this, but Casey and his friends have added infringement after infringement on a fundamental constitutional right.
Relationships between men and women can be difficult - but not impossible.
