WTH is this Taurus!!!

Taurus does sell a 3 inch barreled 605, but it sure doesn't look like that. I wonder if this is some kind of mistake gun. I read somewhere that some guns were shipped from South America, with 3 inch barrels, then cut down, because of import laws. What I would do, is send that pic to customer service, and ask them what it is.

That may be it right there. It might have been one that needed the barrel cut down and they shipped it to the op instead, because "Taurus".

Never had the cut and crown ! R&D must have really screwed up.I would not send it back as it has unusual value.Now if it was S&W or Colt or Ruger value would be intrinsecley more !

Taurus is wacky... i just bought a 2.5" barreled model 692 that has the 2 cylinders (9mm & 357)... but that model isnt even on their own website.

Freakin hilarious. Kinda defeats the purpose (concealability, pocket carry) of a snubby but it's unique for sure.
