HOG HUNT CECIL WEBB PUNTA GORDA FLORIDA

Two weeks away and decided to drive to Florida rather than risk any exposesure to Covid-19,JMO. Hunting with a new to me Savage Axis 3x9x40mm tasco that has been sighted in at 100 yards with benchrest 1 inch groupings and no recoil to speak of.Got this great deal from a fellow member for $ 275 and in excellent cond. So on to the hunt we have a guide with a buggy off the ground all day hunts starting at $ 125 plus extras like butchering not just a quartering out job packed and frozen.Also have to get in some time near Sanibel Island for some good fishing ! a week ago a Hammerhead shark was caught off the beach there,we will be going out on my former sold 22 ft Mako center console with 200 hp ( sadly sold ot to my friend last year ) but get to still fish on it.My favotire fishing Grouper !

One week away and guide services canceled out and Understandably .My Nephew was in Tampa fl and stuck down there .what a ding dong he is to go down to Fl 5 days ago .

I am at Cecil Webb a few times a year. They have the best public shooting range I have ever seen. Nicer than the club I belong to.

Hog hunting is fun...my first hog hunt, I used Switchfoot Outfitters. Hunted off of an airboat with dogs and my ESEE 3 knife. You will never get a better rush than to hunt with a knife.

Fishing is fun, but I prefer to hunt if I had my choice.

I also had my first gator hunt in GA and that was fun as well.
