    Default Opinions on SAR K2-45?

I'm in decision tree mode for my 1st 45 - up till now it "was" a HK45/CZ-97BD decision. My LGS finally had the CZ to try n feel---but instead of making it easy he goes "Here---try this" - this being a Turkish SAR K2-45.
    A CZ-75 clone---all steel- good heft---very affordable.

Any experience from the collective on this new-to- me weapon?

I may just get the SAR for the hell of it - and then still get either the 97 or the HK.

I've had 2 of their polymer CZ clones and they were great. I've only heard good things about their .45. How much though, as they were fairly cheap when the distributors still had them.

They are decent shooters' I have owned two and will be purchasing the new compact K2 45 ACP that's should be arriving here soon. They are solid accurate shooters, downside not a lot of aftermarket support yet.

I have one and love it. It's stupid accurate and recoil is very light due to its weight.

Built like a tank, hammer forged barrel, slide and frame. Feels great in my hand like a CZ75 does.

Only cons: Plastic grips are cheesy, and holsters are hard to find outside of Turkey.

Is good gun, you buy now!

Sar (Sarsilmaz) Was been in the business of manufacturing firearms since 1880, which is longer than Colt. The Plant is as state of the art as any firearm company in the world. Turkey has quite a formable Military and Sar supplies the firearms. I have an ST10 and it is a very impressive firearm.

I've had one for several years and love it. As already stated, strong, quality gun that's a tack driver. I always say if I run out of ammo while being attacked, I could just beat someone with it. Mine fits nicely in a Wild Bill's leather holster for a Sig P226
