Re: I am scared, so I carry a gun
Remember seeing something like this somewhere on the net:
Had a home invasion and used my dick as a weapon.
The police came and it was very embarrassing with lots of rude comments made.
The intruder was traumatized and is still in therapy today.
I'm now on a list, have to attend mandatory meetings and report in to authorities regularly.
Believe me, use a gun.It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

Re: I am scared, so I carry a gun
There's a loser mindset which is characterized by wanting the govt to make everything right, and when confronted with very real risks, just smugly saying "Well I don't want to live like that." As though clicking their heels together will make the millions of career criminals just vanish, and refusing to be prepared to deal with the worst human beings somehow gives the loser the moral high ground.
I have fire extinguishers handy, not because of any irrational fear of being burned to death, but because unintended fires happen every hour of every day, and basic game theory proves that in the event of a fire, having a fire extinguisher will be much more useful than not having one. It's adult logic. And if some psychotic tries to kick in your door or kidnap you in a carjacking, having a gun greatly reduces your odds of ending up mutilated and dead.
We can avoid being killed in a drug drive-by shooting by not being drug dealers, but we just don't have the option of avoiding being robbed for cash, or raped, or killed just because some yute wants to join a gang. Shooting the predator in the face IS an option we can have.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

I'm responsible for my own safety and security. If I feel the need to carry a gun, knife, sword, staff or chemical spray that's what I'll do without any input from people that haven't a clue.

I have lost any compunction to explain myself to anyone. Even that response pushes the envelope. My life is my business. If its someone who is able to hold and actual discussion without the knee jerk horseshit, we can do that. Otherwise...meh... Pass.
