Default Holster for a plain Jane Sig P229?

My wife doesn't want me visibly carry when I'm going on neighborhood walks with her. Any suggestions for a good quality kydex concealed holster for a base model Sig P229?

    Thanks!

Excellent quality holsters, I have a few. I've never had an issue with any of them.

I use OnPoint Holsters for most of my kydex holsters. Great quality and decently priced. He makes them custom, one at a time, but has quick turnaround. I usually get my orders within a week.

The Bunker just started carrying kydex holsters from Smith Concealment. He's right in Horsham, but I don't think he has molds for a P229 yet. I'm very pleased with the quality of his stuff. Since he's local, you may be able to schedule a time to meet up with him and have him make a holster using your gun. I think he said he can sometimes get it made in a couple hours depending on the gun.

Sig sells Blackpoint made holsters. IWB or OWB. I have the leather wing Blackpoint for my MK25 and wear a shirt over it. The Sig website has holsters in stock. If you order from Blackpoint it will take a while.

I bring this up anytime someone asks this question, and I sound like a salesman (I'm not) or a broken record (more likely), but I highly recommend N8 Tactical Holsters for anything IWB. They have soft and hard shell models. The hard shell is made from polycarbonate instead of Kydex. Absolutely the most comfortable holsters I've ever owned. I have tried others, but I keep coming back to these guys. I have six of their holsters, soon to be seven since I just bought one of their OT2 IWB Holsters for my new P365. I prefer the soft shell models because you can fit other guns of a similar size in the same holster, but I have a hard shell for my P938.

They offer a "Two Week, Try It Free Guarantee", so if you don't like it, they'll take it back. You have to pay shipping. Also, all of their stuff has a lifetime warranty.
