Owned one,Open sights were not so accurate unless I put a $ 300 Leupold scope on it. I went back to a Savage MK ll 22 bolt action and a $ 30 Tasco scope that is a tack driver for me .

I've got one and the iron sights are fine for me. It's a plinker demo unit for suppressors but the accuracy is plenty good for me against the squirrels, coons, and crows and other various critters.

The magazines don't always lock up in mine, leading to feed problems. Just press them in again and it corrects itself. But if you're in a hurry, like shooting a rapid-fire stage in a match, it's a PITA. Other than that it's great, no accuracy issues, good trigger, eats anything.

    Use a bolt-action in a rapid-file match?

Sure, why not? As long as you have NPOA on target and can work the bolt without breaking your position, except on the reload, you have plenty of time.
