Is this a good deal on .223 ammo?

If it were me...I probably wouldn't.

You can get a decent price per round if you buy dicks gift cards from GE right now (20 cent fuel perks per $50) then buy it at dicks with some of the coupons floating around.

That would be new remington .223 at that point.

So if you buy $100 worth of ammo you're saving .40 cents per gallon, and then if you have the 10% off ammo coupon, or $10 off $25 purchase coupon, you're really making out then.

Yes I know that's a better price per round but:

1. I hate buying that large a quantity of ammo without ever trying it before.
2. I just need enough ammo (a hundred or two at a time) to get me through until my wonderful fiance hooks me up with the supplies I need to start loading my own .223
