WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) — Families of those killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting will have access to the shooter's computer as part of their lawsuit against gun maker Remington. A state Superior Court judge in Waterbury, Connecticut, signed off on a stipulated agreement Thursday between the families and Remington that will allow a forensic computer expert to examine Adam Lanzas' computer and present digital images of his findings to both sides.
The families are looking for evidence of Lanza's exposure to advertisements for weapons. Remington, based in Madison, North Carolina, is accused of violating the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act by marketing its Bushmaster XM15-E2S rifle to civilians.
Lanza used the gun, which was owned by his mother, in a rampage that started with her and ended when he killed 20 first-graders and six educators inside the Newtown, Connecticut, school.
The plaintiffs' lawyer, Joshua Koskoff, has accused the company of targeting younger, at-risk males through "militaristic marketing and astute product placement in violent first-person shooter games."
One of Remington's ads features the rifle against a plain backdrop and the phrase: "Consider Your Man Card Reissued." The AR-15's design is based on the military M-16. There are now an estimated 16 million AR-platform long guns in the U.S.
The lawsuit is expected to go to trial in 2021.

Not a bad thing, IMO. The defense will get equal access, especially to any nutjob ramblings or manifesto writings that yield insight into Lanza's mental state.

The judge signed off on a “stipulated agreement” what’s that suppose mean? Does the defense get to use it or only the people bringing the suit.

Still pushing the false flag event I see. How about going after the two guys found hiding
in the woods clad in camo, saying they didn't do it as they were lead out of the woods into awaiting police cars
never to be seen or heard from again..
I guess they dont have the MONEY big corp does.

Re: Families in Remington Lawsuit Get Access to Shooter's Computer
The guy/s in the woods? Just watched it again last night. The witness in the interview
said he walked past him in cuffs and said he didnt do it, and they put him in
the front seat of the cop car.
They showed it live, and never mentioned/showed it again. If you read the police report, it clearly
shows lanza didnt do a damn thing. His prints/DNA were not found on any of the weapons,
car, gun that allegedly killed his mother, NOTHING. BUT, the DNA of a convicted felon
from new york (name redacted) was. The whole thing was a farce and it stinks to high heaven.
Thats our deep state .gov at its finest.
