Re: Nfa Cleo information
Just send it to the Bucks Co Sheriff. Or you can send it to AG Shapiro to let him know that you believe in and will exercise your 2A rights as an American citizen (snicker)

Re: Nfa Cleo information
The notification requirement only states that you are to notify your CLEO. In PA for most residents that will be a municipal police chief. I have sent my last three to the Chief of Police in my Township as he is my CLEO. In some cases a resident will live where there is no immediate LE agency at the municipal level, but you then would surely be safe in notifying a County Sheriff.
My most recent recent Form 4 submission (electronic) had a page for you to enter who your CLEO is and the address of the department. The shop told me that the CLEO I specified would be notified as part of the Form 4 process but I still sent a copy and a letter to my CLEO just to make sure I was covered. Who wants anything to fall through the cracks in this environment, right?
I never got any ack from the PD of receipt, not that there is a requirement, there is not. For those of us who are hyper paranoid, I guess you could send with sig required. I'm not yet that paranoid.

Re: Nfa Cleo information
I always had the Bucks County Sheriff sign my form 4s, when it was required....
As I understand it, the Sheriff is considered the CLEO of Bucks County, so that is who I would make the required notice to.... But I will bow to those more knowlegable...
I believe a year or so ago, ATF somewhat unexpectedly dropped the CLEO requirement, which one reason the "Trust route" mostly became moot.A Templar is truly a fearless knight, and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armor of faith, just as his body is protected by the armor of steel.
Big whoop, I'm spooning a Barret .50 Cal...... I could like kill a building.....
