Taurus Service!!!

If the best thing one can say about a firearm manufacturer is they have great repair service, it might be wise to avoid that manufacturer when you make a purchase decision.

No , they were not! I was selling guns in the late-80's~early 90's and stopped carrying their revolvers because they was so bad. Sticking actions due to burrs , metal chips , stacked or weak springs. Had to send many of them back , deal with Taurus , angry customers. It just wasn't worth the hassle for what I made on the guns. If someone insisted , I would only order them if they paid in advance , they got what they got and if it had any problems , it was their problem. They dealt with Taurus customer service! Or could pay me for an action job and spring kit!

The PT-92/99 weren't bad , but I did have some cracked locking blocks and slides. Mostly because folks were shooting +P+ and imported surplus 'black tip' SMG-only ammo.
