For example, he realizes that many rifles that are not "scary looking" like AR's have the same functionality and it is ridiculous to think anything would be gained from banning or limiting the sale of AR's...

Just asking, does that mean that he wants to ban all rifles that have the same functionality?

When you say he was "reasonable", what I hear is that he lied to you.

Is toomer aware that the commonwealth he is supposed to represent has in place already, universal background checks for handguns/pistols/revolvers??? does toomer think this fact is preventing criminals from purchasing handguns/pistols/revolvers???

I’d sign and send a letter. I just want to do something to help save everyone’s 2A. I don’t want our rights gone. I don’t think it’s fair that because of someone’s fear of guns I have to sacrifice my rights to defend myself or have to pay extra taxes or pay an annual registration for each fire arm I own. It’s unfair and unconstitutional to be penalized to protect myself. I personally just feel like I need to do something because sitting here waiting to vote while more and more of our rights get removed is pointless. I’m new here and newer to politics so I apologize if I seem a little uneducated in it. Basically because I am. But I’m learning.

I don't have to support negative efforts to support the 2A - but I can make suggestions on how to make the efforts more effective.

Yes, word it personal and send it. His word and your words will be taken exactly the same by the elites who fancy themselves our superiors not our representatives. It’s only volume that can possibly make them pull back their desires. You ain’t silver tongued enough to actually change their socialism and tyranny but you might be able to make them fear being ousted.

Do you think they view shoot the socialists and different than yin’s can’t take this or I own a gun and I vote? They don’t hate Trump. They hate US. Yes that’s dual meaning.

Look I really like you, your a stand up guy. It just my opinion but I think it not off the mark. We tried nice the whole time of my conscious life. We were gaining ground and now they are panicked. It’s an election year. They need to see the numbers.

Good intentions, but I agree that Wolf and Toomey couldn't care less about what gun owners/2A proponents think. Such letters are just discarded. We need to work on the population so they vote them out next election.

I like this idea. I’m not sure how to do it. I’ve converted few. Some even stuck it to me after allowing them use of my clubs and guns. (Liking how that sounds ).

Stainless is a good guy Bob, that ain’t cool. Your turning people off when your goal is to gather them. Saying shit to politicians who disrespect patriotism and the constitution is one thing. Busting on decent gun folks is counterproductive. You got to learn to take honest criticism and understand when you taste toe and upset an ally and fix it. Do you want letters sent or not.
