    That said, back to the original topic. This is a fing stupid idea. We could actually just train people to shoot, which the army does a horrible job of.

    The armies squad designated marksman program should be the minimum standard. Fancy tech always fails, we have to many damned batteries already, and this will just further erode basic marksmanship.

    Some of those tens of thousands of misses has been blamed on soldiers not wanting to shoot another human being and hoping overwhelming the enemy will result in their retreating or surrendering. No idea if that is correct or fair or a stupid idea.
