AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI TO ENTER INTO AN INTERSTATE COMPACT WITH SOUTHERN STATES FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING AS SECOND AMENDMENT SANCTUARY STATES; TO ESTABLISH THE INTERSTATE COMMISSION ON SECOND AMENDMENT SANCTUARY AND PRESCRIBE ITS POWERS AND DUTIES; TO EXEMPT CERTAIN FIREARMS, FIREARM ACCESSORIES AND AMMUNITION IN THIS STATE FROM FEDERAL REGULATION; TO DECLARE CERTAIN FEDERAL STATUTES, REGULATIONS, RULES, AND ORDERS UNCONSTITUTIONAL UNDER THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND UNENFORCEABLE IN THIS COMPACT REGION; TO REQUIRE THE ATTORNEYS GENERAL OF COMPACT STATES TO FILE ANY LEGAL ACTION TO PREVENT IMPLEMENTATION OF A FEDERAL STATUTE, REGULATION, RULE OR ORDER THAT VIOLATES THE RIGHTS OF A RESIDENT OF A COMPACT STATE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

So are those States going to erase the already un-Constitutional gun control in their State Laws? A permit to conceal carry is an infringement. Background checks are an infringement. Telling anyone where they can not bear arms is an infringement. From what I have seen lately, State gun control is more of a problem than Federal laws.The right to keep and bear arms is a right of the people and neither the Fedgov or the StateGov has any authority to infringe.

Definitely a disturbance in the force. As I see it those states were made a promise that their voices would be heard in Washington when they signed onto the United States and now some disgruntled states are trying to renege on that promise by eliminating the electoral college. Sooner or later they're going to push too far.

These states to be in the U.S.A had to pledge allegiance to the Constitution and Declaration of Rights, not only that, the states created their own State Constitution aligning with the Federal Constitution.

The Both Constitutions have directions to change it, via voting by people.

Our neighbor of West Virginia is one of the 8 states, I wish our state of PA would join the list.
