I agree with all the positive comments regarding Beretta. I’ve always felt that much of the displeasure voiced about them by our military is just as much of a caliber debate as it is about the manufacturer.

I can’t miss the opportunity to post the ghost so here is my 92 inox.

Most of the displeasure comes from worn and improperly cared for firearms and magazine related issues. The last few years beretta with the help of Mec-Gar improved magazine reliability using a special coating on the mag body itself.

I am a huge Beretta fan. I carried an M9A3, a Px4 Compact with an LTT trigger and an M9A1 Compact. They were made better with a G decocker conversion. The Compact had some work done to it that the M9A3 didn't need. The M9A3 is still, by far, the best Beretta I have shot, and that is only because I haven't gotten my hands on an LTT Elite or a WC 92.
    When in doubt, knifehand!

I only have one Beretta. A 92G I bought new a few years ago.
As with anything Italian; it has it's own unique idiosyncrasies.
For me it was the mag release button. Even with the extended release button; I still have trouble accessing the button.

BUT with that being said. If I had a second 92G; then I would be carrying a Beretta instead of a S&W M&P.
Everything Italian is sexy; and troublesome; but worth it.

Klutch has (had?) an INOX Tomcat in the classifieds as of Jan 15th

If you're interested... I love my Tomcat (blued) and my Bobcat is probably my favorite pistol.

Here's my Beretta 92F which I purchased at a law firm in 1992 for $450. One of their clients was going through a divorce and needed to pay his legal fees so the firm accepted this pistol and a beat-up shotgun and advertised them for sale on his behalf.

Since it had already been shot (and not cleaned at the time), I had no issues cleaning it up and making it my range partner for decades. It has the older "snowman" sights but is still accurate as hell - with over 12K rounds through the barrel - mostly my reloads. It's been my nightstand gun ever since (along with a K-bar and Streamlight) and the 15 round nightstand mag has always been loaded with Black Talon JHP's...

Have never replaced any parts 'cause it works just fine...

Double the size lol.I have both and the P7 is my warm weather carry gun due to it's dimensions.
I love the smooth trigger feel of the Beretta.
