So I had a mishap, more then one actually changing out a front sight on a Ruger Alaskan. The cross pin buckled causing the punch to break off in the hole. I got the crosspin out, but the portion of the punch is still jambed in the hole, something is blocking it as it wont move either direction. I tried to drill it out but that was even worse. Pretty sure I will need someone with a Jig to hold the gun and a drill press to make a bigger hole to solve this problem....or just someone who knows guns better then me before I destroy the gun. Anyone know someone with this level of experience in central pa ?
