If you don't think that Presidents make demands of their House and Senate leaders, I'd say you likely don't truly know the nature of political power. They all take orders. It is a way of life. When the requests comes with "the President wants you to _____" it happens the vast majority of the time.

I am in the 9th district also known as the most Republican district in PA. We have had a Republican in the House since 1939. Trump won 70-30 in 2016. Not much room to move the needle.

And Virginia is not lost. The pushback to Dem overreach will sweep the tyrants out of office the next election. Sanctuary counties were born. Its tea party 2.0 in VA.

My point is to make sure that the asleep people are awakened to the full totality of the anti-gun pressure against them. If Warren wants to apply pressure in this way, then they damn sure should know about it, even if she can't actually accomplish anything in this exact form. That's bad enough already and it should piss everyone off and make them want to get engaged.

I get your point about yellow journalism, but the greater concern to me is people not paying attention at all.

I'm glad your local candidates are solid. No sarcasm intended. Can every pafoa member here say the same thing? If not, why not?

And I agree that VA is not completely lost, yet. But the manner in which they ended up where they are VERY closely mirrors where PA is now.

Repealing bad laws once they are laws is not as easy as stopping them in the first place and challenging them all in the courts is costly, time consuming, and is very unlikely to succeed at stopping ALL the bad bills from being enforced.
