Best place to buy guns and ammo

I live in Bedford county and work in Blair. I usually buy my guns in Blair at the various gun shops. I do like Juniata trade. Any comments out there aout Bedford county gun shops? Best deals, best service, etc.

Also, would anybody have any recomendations for a local gunsmith?

best place to buy guns would be Laurels Sport Shop on Pitt Street Bedford or Interchange Parts/ True Value Hardware Everett.

Laurels don't have too big a selection............

East Coast is nice if you are looking for AR type weapons and such. They don't have any AK types that I have seen, had a handful of SKSs.
Decent selection of used guns at good prices, huge huge huge selection of new guns, but a little pricey.
Their used long guns get picked over pretty fast from what I can tell.

Allegheny Trade is one of my favorite shops in the area.

I'm brand new to this forum so hopefully I am not stepping on somebody's toes.. but I hang out in southern Bedford county and found one of the best places to get a deal on a long gun is at the Road Kill Cafe near Artemas. Last I checked it was hard to beat Mike's prices. He doesn't stock much, but can get most anything for a small handling fee over cost.

Bedford County is full of great gun dealers. I know that Laurel Sports has a good stock and ole' Walt will go out of his way to help you get what you need at a decent price. Buying from our local boys, keeps money in Bedford County.

Has anyone ever tried to buy guns and ammo online? Guns would have to be shipped to a local gun shop but there are some GREAT deals to be had.
