Default Star BM grip panel compatibility?

I recently bought a Star BM. I'm really happy with it, but I wanna clean it up and make it look a little nicer than it does. Part of that includes replacing the grip panels, as my original plastic ones are pretty worn and beat up. I have found some good options on ebay and elsewhere around $25-$30, and then some that are really expensive. The cheap ones look just fine, but I am wondering if there are any other options out there I'm missing. Are there ANY 1911 or any other pistols with compatible grip panels, or am I stuck with stuff made specifically for Star BM/BKM/BKS?
