I never died in a dream, but got shot a couple times. In my dream it felt very cold.

Numerous dreams where my gun didnít fire. Usually an issue with the trigger. Like someone else said, unbelievably heavy trigger pull. Trigger breaks. Bullet barely comes out of the barrel. Etc.

I read somewhere what it means. Forgot it though. Always relieved when I woke up.

First thing I did this morning when I woke up was to buy a kydex magazine holder to start carrying an extra mag. I do tend to have bizarre dreams pretty often so this isn't out of the ordinary for me.
Ditto on the bizarre dreams. Some of them seem so friggin real. I had one once where I could actually fly and I was cruising at about 10 feet off the ground and I remember me saying that this was so great that I could do it. Then I realized crap, this must be a dream because people really cannot fly and boom, that's when I woke up. It was neat while it lasted though. No firefight or running out of ammo dreams as of yet.

Owning a Ford would be a nightmare.

Your body paralyzes most of your volitional muscles while you sleep, using the neurotransmitters gamma-aminobutyric acid and glycine. This happens especially while in REM sleep, when the most intense dreaming occurs.

That's why we commonly dream that our legs won't move while we're being chased by threats; because, you know, they won't.

If it were otherwise, you'd sleepwalk, or kick your wife, or worse. Like using virtual reality goggles in traffic.

I think this translates into a general feeling of helplessness. Your gun either won't fire, or the rounds have no effect on the bad guy.

I only remember dreaming that I died one time, and I was crushed to death in that dream. It was very realistic. Not enjoyable in any sense. I hope it doesn't mean anything.

Sleep paralysis is that but with your mind fully awake.
I suffered from that for a long, long time and it was horrific.

Every night I would be trapped in my body suffocating, unable to move to get enough air, and screaming inside my own head trying to wake my body up.
Reached a point where I was afraid to go to sleep.

I can never throw a ball, it feels like the ball is lead, and always fall out of my hand, or goes two or three feet in the wrong direction. I put the sights on target, pull the trigger, but there is either no bang, or if there is a bang, there is no effect, even if I know it was a good shot. I don't know why it is always like that in my dreams.
This is a common dream. You run or punch very slowly/weakly. I have read that it is because your mind is trying to make your body act out the motions and the signals can't get through because your mind is locked out from your body, since you're asleep.

Not the Taurus though. One of their longest selling cars. Over 30 years.
