Default Don’t spend money at Firing Line / Relic Hunter in Whitehall,PA

Was first on a waiting list for a limited gun. Imagine my surprise when I found them selling two of them on gunbroker despite being on their waiting list and never getting a call.

They also have a list of 20 people waiting for Pythons and yet have sold 12 on gunbroker.

When called on it one employee told me they “made a business decision” by not honoring their waiting list and later the owner flat out lied to me despite me knowing they sold guns I was waiting for on gunbroker instead.

They were trying to maximize their profit by selling popular and limited guns for maximum dollar on gunbroker rather than honoring their own waiting list.

I wouldn’t have even minded so much being at least offered the gun at the prices they were bringing on gunbroker but they decided not to even call me and just list them.

They were caught and then the owner flat out lied.

I’m not on their Python list but if you are I would look elsewhere because they sold your gun on gunbroker instead.

Thanks for the info, I do not support shady business. That's as bad as the Hardly-Davison stories from back when they had year-long waiting lists on bikes that guys had to order.

Yep, very shortsighted. Sell a gun to a once and done buyer across the country, or service the guy whos going to come back for ammo & targets, a holster, night sights, and maybe some gunsmithing work and more than likely another firearm in the next 12 months.

They are very shady. I won't step foot in their shop anymore.

I was looking at the surplus Sig M17s

I was looking for a total of three, one for me and one for each of my sons.

I got one from Boyers Hardware for the MSRP price of $699 but they were unable to source more. I have seen them for $999 but I guess I was spoiled by that first one.
