Sexy rifle, but not close to a thousand dollars sexy.
Ammo is expensive as it was way back when. I still have mine. Somewhere.

I saw it recently on SG AMMO $139 for 200(Prvi Partisan). That's not too bad. Sounds like it's not too hard to reload for.

IO back to importing firearms instead of manufacturing firearms is a blessing to everyone. But they'll have to lay off all of those NASA engineers...

Wow......those prices seem optimistic. $900 for a french Mas? $700-900 for a refinished Mauser? Yes there are some rarer codes mixed in that do go for a premium but once you "professionally refinish" the rifle most of that premium goes away. I usually don't comment on asking prices. They sell or they don't. And these will eventually sell out but it might take a while. There are a bunch of people wanting instant gratification that have big checkbooks.

I would wait for some reviews to come out before you take the plunge. Rifles from Africa in "Surplus Turn In Condition" will probably have sewer pipe bores. And if Classic firearms (who are legendary for overgrading) calls them "overall good" then they are probably some real dogs in the mix.

They've already sold some of the MAS 49/56s, 1945 Czech Mausers and Mk 4 Enfields.

It seemed these sales were already taking place and not just something to expect to begin later but was not sure.
