Default Out of state resident sale to FFL?

Can a PA non-resident legally sell his handguns to an FFL in PA, by bringing them here and conducting a face to face transaction with that FFL?

Yes. They need just be careful of their state laws while transporting the firearm to PA to sell to a FFL.

    Cool, thanks.

Do you think such an FFL is going to treat such a transaction with skepticism, or can he expect to more or less go to any LGS in PA and be successful?

I would think most wouldn't care, but if you already have the LGS picked out, give them a call.

oh, I don’t. I was asking because I had the idea of suggesting to someone that he come up here for a visit and sell them while is here, but didn’t have someplace in particular in mind.

He needs to sell them to raise money for his divorce lawyer, but says all the LGS around him have closed and there are only pawn shops, which offer pennies.

Before offering my suggestion I wanted to see if I was even legal.

Edit: just thought of another question.

Can this same person sell to a PA resident in a face to face transaction if it occurs at a PA FFL who does whatever transfer paperwork is required and collects his fee?

If so, I will see if he wants to do that and if so, I will list them in the forsale section. Someone could probably get something on the cheap.

Yes, perfectly legal as long as the firearm is legal in PA.
