Re: Sheesh... Gun transfer fees
Damn you too huh
And I really do get it..... I will make a very good effort buying locally from now on.... again after tax, shipping, and credit cards fees if it applies... what’s the point
Lol... I treat myself to a $10 coffee once or twice a month. Dunkin Donuts is my go to because of the app. Because I am a cdl driver... ELD has me on the clock. So it’s nice to order my coffee from my phone and have it ready for me on my way towards the turnpike instead of waiting 10 mins

Re: Sheesh... Gun transfer fees
I know a guy that drives an hour to MD to get gas cheaper. He drives a Prius. Maybe he is saving a few bucks but is it worth his time?
I can buy and Anderson lower at Cabelas for $39 with a $5 transfer. I wait 1 hour if I'm lucky to complete the transaction. Is that worth my time?
It's preference. I prefer to keep it local so long as it benefits me. Paying $25 for a box of 30.06 when I can get it at WM for $12, that's worth my time as I do it in bulk. Anyway, you get the picture.Gunowner99 - NRA Benefactor Life Member

Re: Sheesh... Gun transfer fees
I don't do much in the name of online but that's because most of the time the price difference is minimal so I buy local, on the off chance it isn't I would have to find a local ffl but I believe Smithgalls still only charges $20 or $25.00 for online transfers if they can get me in at about that price I buy from them. Lanco tactical used to be lower but they upped it for internet transfers too I believe it's about $38.00 but the benefit is I can do it all online anytime of day. I would like to find a local guy individual ffl though would be easier for me but again I'm not buying all the time ..... unless it's 80%'s lol.
