Sheesh... Gun transfer fees
Sheesh transfer fees sure has gone up over the years. $80 for a Online FFL to FFL transfer. I feel like I’m being punish for trying to save a few bucks...between shipping and transfer fees I probably could have just took the time to buy the particular gun locally for the same price without the headache.... it’s just that my work hours and my local gun store hours just don’t mix.... so it’s more convenient for me to shop abroad
I wish more local PA gun stores will post all of their inventory online... especially their sales.... they would probably end up getting more business
All that being said.... I can sense the pressures of the small FFLs staying in business compared to the Walmart like gun stores like buds, or grabagun, etc.
I do understand fees has to go up to stay competitive.... but damn lol
Anyone else feel the same or am I just whiningLast edited by Muscle Master; January 28th, 2020 at 01:09 PM.

.
Where in Philly are you going to?
In Bucks/lower Bucks there are multiple places you can do better than half of that.

Re: Sheesh... Gun transfer fees
I find that $20 is low and $35 is high and they run anywhere in between around here.

Re: Sheesh... Gun transfer fees
Wasn’t really trying to name names and talk ill of the gun store.... especially if I never really been in their store but it’s Suburban Armory in Collingdale
Shoot.... Targetmaster was $50 for a transfer as well

You have to balance convenience and travel time vs cost in cases like this. For example last time I checked Bunker in Warminster charges $35, whether its worth the trip from where you are is the question.

Re: Sheesh... Gun transfer fees
Yeah. $80 is a lot compared to others. If I has to guess, I would say they are sporting New Jersey prices there.
