Chilean mauser Rebuild possibilities?
I have a useless Chilean mauser, But I am curious if I can use the stock and action to build something else. Are they any easy barrel swaps or other options I have to make this useless rifle become a donor to become a useful rifle?

Re: Chilean mauser Rebuild possibilities?
Why is it useless? Is it just some parts? If it is complete the days of sporterizing military Mausers are long past. You will put hundreds into the rifle and it will be worth $100 when you are finished.
Just sell it and buy a new entry level bolt rifle.

Why is it useless? I'd make it a wall hanger if nothing else.

Sell it off to a good home and don't be a bubba. If you try to make it something else, you'll make it worthless.

Buy a Bayonet and hang it on the wall. If it doesn't have a sling or cleaning rod buy them and hang it.
