    Default Manheim Township preemption violation!

Commissioners are to consider a gun shop free school zone law tomorrow evening 1/27. Unfortunately I need to work but if anyone is in the area and can attend it would be appreciated!

It's a gunshop free zone, not a gun free zone. Essentially a zoning request to prevent a certain type of retail establishment. Not sure how preemption applies there....

That's easy as it is regulating the "transfer" of a firearm, which is explicitly precluded by Section 6120

Yep forgot a word and will fix. Don't forget that second part that tramples the first amendment...

The concerted effort by anti gunners is to use public funds to make private organizations spend money defending against obvious illegal actions by anti gun government officials. Preemption is preemption and qualified immunity should not prevent these officials from having to stand before a jury of their peers for their misuse of public funds.
Corruption is the default behavior of government officials. JPC

Petition Request: Consideration of the Petition of Lancaster Country Day School to amend the Zoning Ordinance of Manheim Township – 2014, as amended, to: (i) create Gun-Shop-Free School Zones and (ii) prohibit readily visible signs containing a picture, drawing or image of a firearm located within Gun-Shop-Free School Zones.
For Item 1 they might well consider the legal ramifications of zoning a commercial establishment out of existance.

For Item 2 they'd definitely be treading on First Amendment violations.

    Item considered and denied.

Uhh...in a pure sense, would not their peers be other officials?
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

It doesn't yet mentioned a radius of this gun shop free zone from the school. So how large is this area suppose to be?
