I vote in every election. I have been taking my kids with me since they were very small and have explained the importance of voting whether it be for the local school board or the President of the United States. I also often vote on here....LOL.

Every election in the last 42 years. I take pride in the fact that my name is first in the book every year for the past eight.
For those who say,” I only vote in the big election”: Dogcatcher IS THE BIG ELECTION!
There has only ever been one person elected to the Presidency, that I know of, that was never elected to a lower office first. Donald J. Trump.
All the rest, if we had kept them from lower office, they’d never have gotten to where they could hurt us. So, yes, you need to know where the guy running for dogcatcher stands on 2A/Christianity/abortion/and immigration !

Are you guys really concerned that your guns will be taken away because I don't vote for school board members?
There are, as they say, "No suitable candidates."

It's OK though. I'm honest, I'm not the internet uber patriot.

The main reason for doing this poll is because I often meet new people, and when they learn that I'm a 2A activist they typically reply "I support the 2nd amendment". I then ask, "really, in what way?" Inevitably the reply is "I own a gun and belong to the NRA".

Eventually we get to the subject of voting, and more often than I'd like, they say "I haven't voted in 20 years. Both parties are the same so why waste my time?"

I figured that most on this board are voters, but I wonder about the ones who I'd call "casual" gun owners. We need to reach those people and frankly, I don't know how to. Even if I knew how, I don't know whether they'd listen.
