    Default SEPA Milling Party?

Piggybacking off of an offer for such a thing in Western PA and seeing that there would be an interest let's see what we can do. I have a nice, older compact lathe with mill and believe that I have all the tooling we should need except for a jig(s). I have one guy who knows his way around machines pretty well but he is pretty busy and I'm not sure that we'll be able to coordinate a sizable gathering with him but if we can that would be great. If not we'd need another person who knows their way around machines enough to be able to give instructions on what to do and how. I believe that you are allowed to use my machine to machine your stuff but nobody else can physically help you with it. If I am wrong I would like to be corrected, I am not looking to break any laws.

The shop is plenty big enough but there is no heat so we may want to stave this off until after winter breaks but I'm not set on that.

I'm mainly a CNC mill operator/programmer, but I'm happy to help out. Since I haven't done one myself yet, I should probably try that first, to be aware of problem and figure out an easy way to teach.

I doubt that the Big Buddy would make a notable difference but thanks for the offer.

If you know what bits do what and we have a jig we could probably figure it out. Particularly if I get my other guy to show me how it's done. With a little luck he'll be able to teach us too.

Same here for both, but I can wait to when ever is best for everyone.

10 Big Buddies might take the edge off. Just waiting to hear back when the other guy can make it out.

I'm in if the timing works out.
I butchered one all to hell so I can tell everyone what not to do...
