Not bad, we had one err, which affects cosmetics only where the end mill went a little deeper in one spot. Here's a look at it.

    Looks functional enough.
How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

Since I've never seen a machining job done before I was impressed. And I believe it will get cleaner and faster quickly. I'm dying to go out and cut one myself, like a kid with a new toy at Christmas.

Did you assemble it after you completed the milling?

No, not on site, I'll have to check and see if he did later. The pieces fit in there but clearances were pretty tight, tighter than I think they should be. For some reason (not because I really know) I think there should be a little wiggle room to allow for dust, maybe anodizing and expansion when it gets warm. It was close though, and he wanted to finish it by hand. I figure he did not want to mill too much material away with the machine.

If no one is going to jump in, I will offer up my block as the next sacrificial piece.
But I'm in no hurry, and I am happy to sit and watch.

The thing to do would be for you to come and watch, then you could demonstrate on yours for the next student.

Yes, I'm waiting for the next guy to speak up, unless you plan to do another one.

More people could come and watch too, just don't expect a bunch to be done in one day.
