Default CC: Defying the laws of physics/probability (2 shot in the head)

Talk about a completely implausible explanation for 2 people being shot in the head. Does anyone feel differently?

So.....this is what is supposed to have happened:

    • Father and 4 year old wrestling
    • CC gun "slips out from father's back"
    • Gun SOMEHOW discharges, either magically on its own OR has its trigger activated by some unidentified force or object
    • This happens in such a way that a head shot is scored on TWO people

A 4-year-old boy and his father sustained gunshot wounds to the head after the man's concealed weapon accidentally discharged while the two were play-wrestling, police said.

The 36-year-old man was playing with the toddler in their home in Bloomington, Indiana, when his handgun slipped out from his back and went off, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. The shot struck them both in the head, the office said.
The 4-year-old remains in critical condition at a children's hospital in Bloomington. His father is expected to recover, the office said.

Could be a partial hit to the child and a graze to the father. I think it could happen. I wouldnt be rough housing with a carry piece.. ...

Needs forensic evaluation. Angles involved when gun fired, gunshot residue pattern(s), surface the gun struck, if any, part of gun striking surface if any, make model and condition of the firearm, condition as carried. Attitude of the father as queried, possibly polygraph-appropriate.

To answer the question contained in the title, my take...it's possible. As remarked, rough-housing with gun carried in an insecure manner may be the element of a charge of negligent discharge/agg assault through negligence.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

At best highly unlikely and I and not buying it. I would think there will be more investigating on this one then the rest of the story.
