looking for range home with enough land and privacy to shoot
I'm looking for a 4 bed 2 bath ranch home with enough land to shoot daily without swat teams descending from ropes. I live in NY now so you will understand the years of oppression.
Finally time to retire and get my family out. Help needed for house tips, real estate agents are useless they just send me everything that comes accross there desk
Thanks Scott

Saw one today beyond expectations. I'd share the location with you if I wasn't 97% sure it's gonna end up being ours...
We've looked for a really, really long time and after 30 minutes in the house, spent the next 5 hours walking the property lines...- bamboomaster

Re: looking for range home with enough land and privacy to shoot
Any idea what area you want to live in?
I love where I live in Perry County PA. Close enough to Harrisburg for decent work but out of the metro area. I live on 40 acres which is great for being left alone. Prices are good in this area. They're better in more remote areas of the state if you don't want to be close to anything."A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself"

Re: looking for range home with enough land and privacy to shoot
I will selling my house here which will go for a good price, I would like to be around 300.000.00, though. Good luck to you on top, hope you enjoy your new place. I would love to move to the middle of nowhere but i am bringing my 92 year old mother and wife so i was looking in the Poconos which i happen to like and is not too far away from there useless relatives. I grew up on a 165 acre farm upstate, but can't afford or need that much. I am hearing about gun discharge laws so i may not be able to find what i am looking for unless i give up on that dream or, as you say move further away. So far everything i have love is four hours away from here. killing me. How is Wyoming P.A.?

Do a search of 771 Carlton Rd. South Sterling Pa. in Realtor.com. Nice looking 4 bedroom ranch with ramp. South Sterling is just north of the Poconos.

Had one up around the bend in the road they just completely remodeled for sale and gone now. I know where a log home is for sale but it’s 2 story.
