I don't think it's going to be summer like but I have not seen anything saying it will be bad travel weather.
About 2 weeks ago a trip to roughly that same area was nice but the fuzz was everywhere.
Nothing like a speeding ticket to drain some funds from the gun show budget.

What would probably be two hours or more each way will be less than an hour in de plane. Two fat guys in a Cessna and maybe, if we lighten up on fuel, we can get some ammo while we're there.

I'll stick with that.
I used to know a guy who had one of them "planes"
I use that term loosely , it was the thing that looked like a go-cart with a giant kite attached.

Anyhow , one winter he gained a little weight and was saying he needed to lose 10 pounds or he wouldn't be taking flight again.
News Flash I told him ..... any air-craft who's safety hinges on whether or not I had a heavy meal isn't something I want a part of.

Really? Have you ever flown commercially? Did they weight your baggage at check-in? If they didn't head for the exit gates. I weigh everything that goes into my plane and if you don't like that I'm fine with you finding another way to travel.
