i must be getting old because camera technology is starting to amaze me, from the gigabit inaguration to the high rez ptz on the chopper yesterday to this horrific image.

Tell me about the high res, I saw a pic posted on another site last week that was hard to believe, I had to
stare at it for a while.

I wanted to read the signs to verify the that it wasn't something other than an anti-gun rally being passed off on us, I've grown to be skeptical that way.

I have a friend in the VSP, wasn't at Richmond, that just texted me and said that VSP, best on helicopter footage, are now adjusting their estimates to 100K. That still feels heavy to me, but I'm not an expert at crowd sizes, and I suppose they would have the best vantage for such an estimate. I suppose it doesn't get much more official than that??

It doesn't and it won't. I say fuck 'em, let's play their game and run with that number. 100,000 it is! But we still won't substitute phony pictures and lay claim to them.
