Question Club w/ Indoor Pistol Range near Shohola, Pike County ???

I am interested in clubs with an indoor pistol range near Shohola - Pike County. I was told that I cannot bring my guns to NY or NJ clubs so I have to stay in PA. I am not looking for recommendations for commercial ranges or clubs with only outdoor ranges and also not outdoor state ranges.

I would drive up to 2 hours for the right club. Website or contact info would be helpful.

    Any info is appreciated.

    John

Correct about NY - you cannot even TOUCH a handgun in NY without a NY permit.

NJ - technically you can go straight to/from a range in NJ. But NJ is just as much of a dick as NY about mere possession off your property.

As for an indoor range in PA - hopefully someone from that side of the state can answer.

Indoor commercial range - yes, not what you asked for, but relatively close in Dingman's Ferry:

I'd also like to see what sort of ranges are in Pike/Wayne County...there aren't many that I've seen.

I don't know of any. Heberlings in prompton is really cheap and the owner is a great guy.

I can think of 2 places that are within your 2 hour distance:
BURKE'S in Wyoming County - on Route 6, 12-13 miles West of Tunkhannock or a mile or so West of Meshoppen. Nice folks - very modern, clean, brand new facility with a large selection of firearms, ammo & accessories.
THE CABIN in Luzerne County - off 81 in Wilkes-Barre area. Maybe a year or 2 older than Burke's, but nice. However, they lack the retail aspect, which is always needed (IMO).
I'm sure info on both can be found via Google.

I’ve been to the cabin. It’s nice and state of the art. They also now have a retail space but it is still a commercial range that allows membership and that could be of use for this. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back but I would go during the week.

Then the Silver Laker Club should be within range (pun intended). Check out their website. URL above.

Is it really possible that there is so little interest or so few people interested in shooting clubs in Northeast PA? It's like Pike and Wayne counties are a dead zone.
