Could be worse, I'm in Baltimore for work instead of eating bacon and shooting guns.

Another good, safe shoot guys, thanks to everybody who showed up. I really don't think the weather was too bad, could have been better, could have been much worse. Thanks to everybody who put a handgun on the table, I think we all got some good laughs out of that shoot. I hope you all enjoyed it. Congrats to Neillm todays top gun!

Weather was fine. As long as you didn't have any exposed skin. LOL

Really though, it wasn't all that bad. Bright, sunny sky helped, and there was no wind to speak of.
18° at start and 28° when I left at 11:30.

I'll take that over rain any day.

Thanks Sam for setting up the Battleground Pickup! That was fun. Mostly. The 1911, the Model 10 and the Canik were a nice warm-up, the hurt of the Model 60 went by quickly, the HK VP70 was a cool and ridiculously clunky relic, the Mac 10's were huge freaking heat sinks that sucked all the warmth out of our hands while we fumbled with the jam-o-matics, then our hands were just about numb while we tried to hang onfor dear life to the hand cannon. The snappy little Ruger felt pretty tame after that, lol.

I'm glad yinz ate them. I'd have had a real health problem if I had to take many of them home with me. Those were lethal weapons. I can't believe there were even pieces of bacon in the maple cream inside the paczki. Oakmont Bakery rocks.

Finally back home and able to check-in -- thanks to everyone, as always, for these group shoots! Had a blast, and I'm not sure how I pulled off first place, but I'll take it! Much thanks to Sam for organizing it, and to everyone that put a piece in. It was definitely exciting trying so many different ones in such a short time, under pressure and all. I heard those S&W 500 rounds were $2 a piece .... if I owe anything for the pleasure/pain, let me know! I guess I'd handle that one again if I had to, but I can't tell if I fear that or the 10ga more

I thought the turn out was decent too, particularly given the weather. I don't know you guys felt, but near the time I had to leave, the chill was getting to me. Everyone present made it great as usual. Thanks again for the hand-warmers, those were a lifesaver for the day (at least for me). Already looking forward to the next one!
