Hi guys and gals.
I know we are no longer required to have a range safety officer at these shoots.
I believe there are enough experienced people to forego having to do so.
There was a time we couldn't get people to get this cert.
I posted in the training forum about an RSO class being held at the club.

One week from today! The weather forecast looks decent for this time of year. Cindy and I will be bringing the cooking stuff if anyone wants to bring bacon etc... We will also be bringing our steel targets to set up in the side bay. As always anyone can bring their own steel if they wish.

The rules for the steel targets are as follows. Lead or copper jacketed lead non magnum pistol calibers only. No frangible, steel core or steel jacketed rounds allowed. 9mm carbines are okay. If you're not sure please ask. These targets are provided as a courtesy of some group shoot participants. While the use of them is encouraged we also want the targets leaving the shoot in undamaged condition.

Don't forget about the side "combat pick up" shoot if you wish to participate. You'll need no more than 40 rounds of ammo for that course of fire.

I'll be there early, around 8:30 if anyone would like to help set up the bays.
