Isn't that the MOS? Has all that optic slide mount gear. More expensive?

Worth a look next I'me I'm at the store

PS: it may cause a big sell off of Gen3/Gen4

No they eliminated it on the new production standard gen 5's from what I have seen.

heres an update for ya fellas..

    hodgie..
youre right brother.. they did away with it late last year, so any gen 5 made september and after wont have the cutouts ( as FFL stated)

i took a $75 hit today and traded in the Gen 5 WiTH the cutout for a Gen 5 WITHOUT the cutout, the FLL i deal with ALL the time worked with me on this and bought back the gen 5 i bought from him a couple days ago for $500

paid another $75 for the newer Gen 5, i figured it was going to cost me that much if not more to work around this issue

NOW im happy with both gens!!!

and i have to tell you guys..

my gen 4 has a ghost pro 3.3, polished everything

the gen 5 with JUST a ghost 3.5 connector and polished assembly feels the same.. i dont have a gauge to check actual numbers.. but the feel is right on with the gen 4

    woohooooooo!!!

I'd be tempted to fill in that half-moon by installing mini rebars and JB Welding it.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I have medium-sized hands and fortunately the G19 Gen 5 cutout doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I'm glad the OP found a good solution.
