i wish a stroller would work. he either wants to do it himself or be carried.

I took a double stroller last year (2 wide graco). Its the width of a large wheel chair and was fine. Biggest issue was other people not noticing and tripping over it while i was standing still.

The problem with taking younger kids is bathroom/food/snack breaks every 15 mins- half hour.

I'll be behind a table again, paranoid about being inside a giant box of diseases a week after getting over a bad cold. Will be looking around when I can for anything that might pique my interest. PTR-91, M14 clone, old AR's, a Garand or Carbine. Hell maybe even a Colt Rail Gun ever since I was flannel daddy's video on the M45.

Ya know... I married a woman from a family that was fairly anti gun. I kept a revolver and she was a bit nervous about it. I took her to the range and she learned to shoot. I do tell her what I purchase, she tells me about her purchases. We don't really have any big arguments about either my or her purchases. This May we will have been married for 45 years. Maybe I'm dumb, but I'm happy. Oh, and my wife does shoot handguns with me, and pulls the cord for me when I shoot table trap. She'd do trap too, but her left arm is damaged and won't work with long guns.

It's great you never witnessed first hand a completely normal sane woman become something you never seen before in a blink of the eye.
May you find the next 45yrs just as great.
Don't give up on finding a way for her to shoot trap... you never know. I know one armed folks who do so much it makes me look as if I'm standing still.

this is the funniest thing I have read all day! quite an accurate description of the gun show crowd. I have seen them all...the guys who think they know more than you about the items you sell and they feel the need to tell you about it. the guys who are very respectful and are well spoken and well mannered. the guys who are just passionate about firearms in general. and of course the bubba Joe's of the world. its all fun though at the end of the day. the only thing that bothers me are the guys who price check every damn thing they see on a table and then ask to get $2 off because they can get it on the internet for that price.

We could tell stories for hours of gun shows , gun stores , gun ranges , grocery stores , Walmart people ……. and at the end of the conversation …. many stories would still be untold.

no I sure don't. haven't had any of those in awhile to be honest. they used to pop up at a local auction but haven't been there for a year or so. I will keep my eyes peeled for you though!!

just ordered a bunch of stuff for the show. will be there with lots of C&R bring back guns, some new stuff, lots of PSA offerings, Mags, and tons of cool old bayonets. see you guys there!

Any chance there will any complete AR9 pistol lowers among the PSA stuff? That would give me a reason to drag my butt over.

Apparently his doctors visits and prescription costs are very inexpensive. That is a win in my book.
