I don't know how they make any money at this show. I won't be surprised if they can even pay for their tables. Like the guy against wall selling all sorts of magnifiers, nail clippers and what not.

I could be wrong but I don't think that tables are much above flea market prices. I'm thinking that they're like $35/ea.

Unfortunately, you are indeed incorrect. Tables fees are MUCH higher then $35 each. in fact, before I even start to setup on Friday morning....it costs me about $1000 to get there and do the show (that includes table rent, tolls, gas, hotel fees, meals, etc.).

$90 per table for now....they will go up in price whenever the venue charges more for rent. There is no minimum that I know of but I can tell you that my hotel fees are usually less than my table fees. All said and done, it costs me about $1000 before I even sell anything. I find there is a huge difference in how much the public thinks we make and how much we actually do make. the fees are high for table rent no matter how big or small the show are always really high. usually the small shows with 80 or less tables are flea market fees ($30 or less). Larger shows from 200 table to 1500 tables are more will range from $65 to $100 each....sometimes more.

My wife tried the show selling jewelry a few times. Granted, it is not the venue for it but neither are pickles and pink bags. Let me just say this. They can give you the tables for free and you still won't make money. But hey, there are vendors who are there every time with half dozen tables so somebody is selling.
