Love this site. Bring a bodyguard to a notary. Never knew that is a good idea. Learn something every hour.

A lot of vendors preclude that "bargaining" by posting signs 3% added for credit card saleThere are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Just an aside about accepting checks.
When Lincoln Electric (LECO as the company's designation in the securities markets and the world's largest manufacturer of welding equipment) paid off the new plant it built in Ohio (this was in the early '60's), they made their last payment with a check: a 2 foot x 4 foot solid rectangle of 1/2" steel with all the appropriate designations you would see on a normal check crafted by master welders. They had the payment delivered to their bank in NYC and officials there was puzzled how to deposit and then cancel the check. All it took was a .50 cal machine gun close to the check and about 30 rounds of ammo for the notation "PAID".
The cancelled check was on display in their lobby resting on a reinforced artist easel during the 1964 NYC-hosted World Fair.
It really made a memorable impression on this 5th grader at the time...- bamboomaster

Bet it would not be allowed in today's Nanny world in that Nanny state. Or they would take a tip from mainstream media and lie about how the dents were made.
