    Default Winchester white box problems?

My local indoor range is warning people against using Winchester white box ammo. They have had 5 guns blow up in the last month due to over pressurized rounds. The range has reached out to Winchester but has yet to hear back. If you are interested, the 5 guns were 2 Glocks, an AR-9, a sub-2000 and an LCR. Has anybody else heard anything about this?

There is a recall on their website dated February but it is only for 38 special. The above would indicate that the problem is more widespread.

I'm guessing the Glocks and LCR were all 9mm also?
I've got lots of White box but it's probably over a year old now. Were the suspected boxes new or older?

Damn I have wwb from Walmart in lots of calibers. It’s dirty and less accurate but blowing guns up is really shitty ammo. I hope this gets addressed soon.

The LCR was 9mm but the fellow was shooting 124 grain ammo. Here's a picture of the offending box.

Isn't that "NATO" stuff supposed to be "hot"?

I remember someone saying it was somehow different than the "normal" white box 9mm

A little extra 'value' in the value pack.

Absolutely. It crushes saami spec. It’s for nato arms and ww2 sub guns. I wouldn’t use it in the kel-tec gun or lcr listed. I would think the glock should handle it.
