For you weird gun aficionados, they have a heritage 22 revolver with a 16" barrel for around 300. Almost bought the damn thing for ha ha's, since I would have zero practical use for it.
$300? That's almost twice what I paid for mine (also new) Just saw another one locally for $160 new.

Well hell, now I'm doubly glad I didn't but it! Although this did have "ankle holster ready" on the tag.

I agree 300 is high. I paid 190 OTD for mine with the fiber optic sights.

And this is with the 16" barrel? Wow. I had no idea they were so common.

Yeah, if you keep an eye on PSA they've had them for around $160.

Considering the 6" barreled ones sell for around $100 there really is no reason why an extra 10" of barrel would add much to the price.

Yes it was with the 16 inch barrel. I bought it at Gators Guns in Shamokin Dam Pa.

Just an update. The Ruger Wrangler is a solid, well built revolver.
I put about 200 rds thru mine today, and it us absolutely a hoot to shoot.
Not quite as accurate as a MkIII semi, but one hell of a lot of fun. With subsonic ammo it's the perfect gun for rodent control, even in the burbs.
